Getting Started

Rate My Resume uses AI to analyze your resume and provide actionable feedback. Upload your resume (PDF, DOCX, or DOC — max 10 MB) and optionally paste a job description to get a tailored match score and targeted recommendations.

How Does Resume Analysis Work?

• Upload: Drag and drop your resume file or click to browse.
• Job Description (optional): Paste a job description for role-specific alignment scoring and skill gap analysis.
• Analyze: Click "Run Analysis" to start. Each analysis consumes 1 credit.
• Results: Receive a comprehensive report including an overall score, strengths, high-impact fixes, per-section breakdown, career path suggestions, and JD match details.

Credits & Payments

Each resume audit consumes 1 credit. Credits are purchased through the Shop and processed securely via Razorpay.

• Single Credit: ₹10 — Quick scan and optimization.
• Starter Pack (Best Value): ₹50 for 5 credits — Iterate on multiple versions.
• Popular Pack: ₹100 for 10 credits — Serious job seekers.
• Credits never expire unless your account is inactive for more than 24 consecutive months.
• All credit purchases are final and non-refundable once a credit has been consumed.
• If a payment fails after amount deduction, the amount will be refunded back to the customer within 7 working days.

Account & Authentication

• Registration: Sign up with your full name, email, and password (min 6 characters), or use Google OAuth.
• Login: Use your email and password, with an optional "Keep me signed in" toggle.
• Email Verification: You may be asked to verify your email before accessing certain features.
• Session: Your session is managed securely via Supabase. Expired tokens refresh automatically.

Analysis History

All your past analyses are saved to your profile. Visit the History page to view, revisit, or delete previous audits. Each entry shows the file name, analysis date, and target tier. Results are paginated (10 per page) for easy browsing.
